BAIN-MARIE - CHAFING DISH

In the catering trade, the BAIN-MARIE is an important helper for keeping food warm.

Behind the name BAIN-MARIE is a kitchen appliance that is primarily used to keep food warm.

It is a heated water bath, with an integrated insert made of tin or sheet iron.

The bain-marie has an inlet & outlet.

By means of gas or electricity, the water is heated and releases the heat to the food in the container.

The water bath allows optimal distribution of heat to the dish without burning or curdling.

The kitchen helper is particularly suitable for ladling dishes such as goulash, soups, but also sauces.

The bain-marie also makes the cook's job easier, as it eliminates the need for regular stirring of dishes.
